Here at Walsall Mind and Body Centre we define a Proffessional Complementary and Natural Healthcare Therapist as someone who holds an appropriate recognised qualification in the therapies they practice and consistently and unconditionally;
Takes responsibility for there own professional actions.
Adheres to good governance and that this directs their behaviour in the treatments they provide.
Meets the entry and ongoing standards of competence for their area of practice.
Abides by ethical and moral standards.
Practices in ways which contribute to leadership within their field.
Offers specialist skills.
Treats clients, patients, their families and other professionals with respect.
Behaves in ways that reflect high standards of personal probity.
We expect each member of our team to act professionally at all times, and to;
Maintain membership in good standing of at least one recognised professional body.
Have appropriate professional indemnity insurance that covers all of the work they do at all times.
Undertake continuing professional and personal development activities as required by their professional body.
Be engaged in reflective practice and supervision appropriate to their experience and in line with the requirements of there professional body.
