Susan Rook
Our Bowen Therapist Susan Rook started her career mainly in office work, but didn’t find enough challenge in that and loves working with people, so she moved on to working with elderly people in various care settings including working in care homes and a hospital. From this Sue was able to identify her ‘calling’ was to care and heal.
Since her children became independent Sue has taken the time to think about herself and expand her horizon in terms of training and personal development, and this brought her into the field of holistic health care. Throughout this time Sue says ‘I have been on a self healing journey, in my efforts to keep myself, my family and of course my dogs in optimum health I have learned such a lot’ by using EFT and experiencing other therapies Sue identified the real benefits that holistic / complimentary health care can offer and feels strongly about helping others make this same discovery.
Sue trained with the European College of Bowen Studies, and became fully qualified in February 2008, since then she has continued to expand her knowledge studying at Stafford College and other establishments. Sue has trained in first aid (she is an appointed person qualified first aider) and is a qualified Canine Bowen Practitioner so can treat our canine companions as well as us humans.
