Our Centre Manager and Principal Therapist Andrea Bradley began studying hypnosis and NLP in 2002, and first qualified in 2005. Andrea does more than 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development each year, and has studied a number of other subjects directly relevant to her work as a clinical hypnotherapist. These other subjects include coaching with NLP, Transactional Analysis, Emotional Freedom Technique and Bilateral Stimulation Therapy, the use of Hypnotherapy in Childbirth, Hypnotherapy for IBS, Working with substance abuse.
Andrea trained as a Counsellor more than 15 years ago and has used those skills in a range of settings, eventually teaching counselling skills to others during her time as a College Lecturer. During the early years of work in Counselling Andrea worked with women experiencing domestic violence and those particularly young women affected by substance abuse.
Andrea currently teaches Clinical Hypnotherapy, stress management and business skills at the Midland College of Psychotherapeutics.  She has been working as a business adviser and management consultant for more than 20 years, and currently uses these skills to assist therapists who looking to set up their own small businesses.

Andrea’s career has included a lecturing post At Dudley College where for a number of years Andrea headed up the Health and Social Care team, teaching Childcare and Education, Sociology, Anatomy and Physiology, Communication skills. Psychology, Counselling, Social policy and a range of other subjects.
Andrea has worked extensively (both in a professional capacity and as a volunteer) with charities over the years and currently supports Arty Party, a Telford based disability arts organisation.
Charity events at Walsall Mind&Body Centre will take place from time to time to raise funds for local and national charities.

Andrea also offers the services she provides as a professional management consultant, to local charities at a considerable and flexible discount.

Andrea Holds a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, and is an NLP Practitioner.
As well as her therapy qualifications Andrea holds an honours Degree in Sociology, Social policy and Women’s Studies and JNC registered diploma qualification in Youth work (Post grad).
